Information for visually impaired voters

A ballot paper template will be available at each polling station in Waterford to facilitate visually impaired voters.  The template will allow voters to identify the location of the box to be marked for each candidate by touch.    A list of the candidates running in the General Election, in the order they appear on the ballot paper, can be heard by calling the freephone number below.

GENERAL ELECTION NOVEMBER 2024
CONSTITUENCY OF WATERFORD

Take Notice that, pursuant to a writ issued to me by the Clerk of Dáil Éireann, I will take a poll on 29th November, 2024, between the hours of 07:00am and 10:00pm to elect 4 members of Dáil Éireann for this constituency.

The names and descriptions of the candidates standing nominated and of their proposers (if any), and the order in which they will appear on the ballot paper, are set out hereunder.

Tabhair faoi deara, de bhun eascaire a d'eisigh Cléireach Dháil Éireann domsa, go dtógfaidh mé vótaíocht an 29ú Samhain, 2024, idir na huaireanta 07:00am agus 10:30pm chun 4 Teachta Dála a thoghadh don dáilcheantar seo.

Work Applications

If you are 18 years of age or older and wish to apply to work at the forthcoming General Election on 29th November, then you can complete an application form by clicking on "Apply for Work" in the menu at the top left hand side of this webpage.   

NB: Persons canvassing on behalf of any party or candidate in any election being held that day are NOT eligible to work.   This includes commenting, on the subject of the referendums, on social media.
